That time again - cat photos from the last few warm days of autumn.

The colour on the trees has been stunning this year, our lovely Maple has only just finished with a gorgeous display of deep red foliage. On a day with bright sunshine and bright blue skies, a little warmth behind the sun and barely a breathe of wind it becomes a necessity to go out and take photos.

A quick wave of a feathered flying toy and suddenly I am surrounded by cats and I can take a myriad of photos.

This was a pretty amazing collection of cat photos, especially the one with the five cats together. I saw your "trip" photos on earlier posts. It looked like an amazing trip with great photographic memories. Enjoy the holidays you celebrate.

My quirky self

Hi, I'm Nicola, this blog is about me : ), my family : ) and my cats : ). My family make me smile, most of the time and I am very proud of them. I have three fairly grown up kids, or young adults, no still kids!!!!. I am still a taxi service and I hope a confidant, although as a mum it is always trial and error, hopefully with a bit of useful knowledge acquired. Their dad is OCD on many things : ) especially bird watching, however his mum and his sister are actually quite normal and fantastic, I do love them. I adore photography and have had the chance to have some spectacular holidays which have offered the very best of experiences for photos.
Then there are the six cats. We have two British Shorthairs and three Selkirk Rex, one shorthaired curly, one longhaired curly and our girl a longhaired variant. Finally our most recent addition our fantastic Maine Coon.
